- Disability Implications of an Aging Workforce: Developing an Action Strategy
In December 2010, the NTAR Leadership Center hosted a round table entitled Disability Implications of an Aging Workforce: Developing an Action Strategy. Participants discussed three main topics: the impact of federal policies on older workers with disabilities, the public workforce system's ability to serve older job seekers and job seekers with disabilities, and public and private-sector employer strategies for hiring and retaining older workers. Special attention was paid to older workers at risk of leaving the labor market prematurely due to issues of health and disability. http://www.ntarcenter.org/files/Summary_Report_Aging_Roundtable.pdf - See What I'm Saying: Dr. Carolyn Stern
